Run-DMC was a hip-hop group whose masterpiece contribution to the hip-hop genre earned it several firsts. The group was the first hip hop pact to grace the cover of the popular American magazine, Rolling Stones. Without losing steam, Run-DMC was also the first in the hip Hop genre to receive a Grammy Award nomination.
