With an array of the music industry’s biggest names, to headline the event, the Global Music Festival organizers have released the following names as 2024 headliners – Post Malone, Doja Cat, Jelly Roll, and Rauw Alejandro, while having Global Citizen Ambassador Hugh Jackman serving as the host of the event. The Golden Citizen Festival event aims to promote awareness and call to action on pressing global issues such as poverty and climate change among others. The Global Citizen Festival is an annual music festival founded by Ryan Gall and Hugh Evans in 2012. The event has since then been organized and remained organized by the Global Poverty Project. According to Ryan Gall the founder, he said he was inspired by visiting Austin City Limits and seeing the branding on the stage, but wanting to replace the corporate branding with branding from charities.
