Cardi B is living up to her new album title Am I The Drama? confirming a baby with Stefon Diggs, going viral with a savage livestream, and securing a Guinness World Record in the same week.
On September 19, Cardi went live on Instagram while cooking pasta. She joked about Diggs’ ongoing paternity suit and claims that he fathered kids with multiple women this year. Channeling Shirley Brown’s “Woman to Woman,” she delivered a playful monologue. “Hello Barbara, this is Shirley, yeah, it’s me. Yeah, that’s your baby daddy, bit**. Yeah, that’s my baby daddy too, girl. Well, what now? I don’t f – in know. We’ll figure it out, bit**.” The clip quickly went viral.

Days later, Cardi B sat with Gayle King on CBS Mornings and made it official. Cardi said she is expecting her fourth child, her first with the New England Patriots wide receiver. “I’m excited, I’m happy, I feel like I’m in a good space,” she told King. She noted her due date is before her February 2026 tour. “I felt like, can I just say it on my own time? I’m not hiding.”
At the same time, Cardi’s new album Am I The Drama? is breaking records. She partnered with Walmart to deliver the project by drones in Dallas, Texas. The stunt set a Guinness World Record for “Most deliveries in one hour,” hitting 176 drops. “I can’t even believe this, my fans have been getting my album from drones,” she wrote on X.

The album went platinum on release day. The RIAA credited the certification to the massive streaming numbers of her past singles WAP and Up. But the music also sparked debate. On his podcast, Joe Budden suggested Cardi didn’t write the sharpest bars aimed at Bia and JT. Cardi fired back online. “Whoever wrote it? Nah, that’s CARDI. This is my process… I’m a natural roaster and you already know I’m quick with the mouth,” she wrote in a now-deleted post.
Gayle King praised her after their interview. “I think if you underestimate her, you do it at your own peril,” King said. “She knows exactly what she’s doing.” With a baby on the way, a viral livestream, and a world record attached to her album, Cardi B is showing that she is on top of the moment from music to her personal life.
