BTS: K-pop Band Celebrates 11th Anniversary announcing FESTA 2024 in Seoul

 

World-famous K-Pop band, BTS is set to make a big noise to celebrate a major milestone as they mark their 11th anniversary this June. As part of this significant occasion, BTS has announced the group’s highly anticipated FESTA 2024, which is a grand celebration that will take place on the June 13 at the Seoul Sports Complex in South Korea. This year’s FESTA celebration promises to be a significantly different event compared to the previous year. This is because the event will be featuring a long list of activities and special moments that will leave the ARMYs BTS’s dedicated fan base burning with excitement.

BTS since their debut in 2013 with the single album “2 Cool 4 Skool,” has taken the whole world by storm or more like a whirlwind, especially with their diverse musical styles, melody and resonating lyrics. It remains a band of seven which includes Jin, RM, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, this seven talented young artist have not only grown since then but have also evolved from been just a local hip hop group into a versatile international group with a wide range of genres. Now, BTS has become one of the best and leading musical bands in South Korea, with global acclaim.

Their impact in the music industry is definitely undeniable, as they’ve been able to get numerous records to their name. In 2013, the group made its first Billboard chart appearance with “No More Dreams,” and has since achieved countless milestones, which includes the most Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 debuts among groups and the most top 10 debuts among groups. Each member has also enjoyed some solo success, with individual hits on the Hot 100.

One of the most eagerly awaited highlights of the Aforementioned 2024 FESTA is the official appearance of BTS’s Jin, who will be returning to the screen following the completion of his mandatory military service. Jin’s return is set to be an emotional and heartwarming moment for fans, as he will be meeting with 1,000 lucky fans at the Jamsil Arena for a special hug or handshake session (based on their preference). According to a news release, Jin will also be delivering a heartfelt message to the ARMYs, including a variety of segments designed to create an unforgettable experience for every fans present.

For those who cannot attend in person due to a reason or the other, Jin’s message will be live streamed through Weverse Live for ARMY Membership holders. In addition to Jin’s return to the screen, fans are eagerly waiting for Jin’s discharge from his military duties, which is expected to end around the time of the group’s 11th anniversary. The recent activity on Jin’s animated character Wootteo’s account has greatly increased excitement about his return to the K-pop scene. Also as the only group member without an official solo album debut, there is much curiosity about whether Jin will still collaborate with Coldplay again for his highly anticipated venture.

BTS has unveiled an exciting timeline filled with a series of events and releases that will build anticipation and excitement. The week-long FESTA celebration will kick off with the initial reveal on Sunday, June 2nd while Bang Bang Con ticket sales will commence on Tuesday, the 4th of June, followed by visuals on 5th and 6th of June. The highlight of the pre-event activities will be the Bang Bang Con live streaming event on 8th of June, while the festivities will reach its peak by the 13th of June with the grand celebration at the Seoul Sports Complex.

As part of the FESTA tradition, BTS will treat their fans to exclusive content, including a collection of unreleased photos, streamed previous concerts, and handwritten content from each of the seven members; it will also feature various activities that honor the band’s history and achievements, creating a meaningful and joyous occasion for all attendees ,like a sketch diary that offers fans a unique and first hand glimpse into BTS’s journey over the years. Currently, all seven members are serving in the South Korean military, which requires an 18-month enlistment for all able-bodied men by the age of 28.

However, despite their military commitments, several members have pursued solo projects, continuing to engage with their fans through individual endeavors. The full group is expected to reconnect for band activities in 2025, which has got their entire fan base curious as they eagerly await their return.
