Jennifer Hudson’s tribute to Whitney Houston at the AMAs anniversary was not just iconic. It was  a heartfelt way to honor an icon. The medley was  a nod to Whitney’s incredible talent. It also showcased Hudson’s own vocal prowess and deep connection to the music. It was a surreal experience for Hudson, reflecting on her own journey as a young girl watching Houston perform, and then stepping into the spotlight herself to celebrate that legacy.

Whitney’s 1994 performance is remembered as one of the highlights of AMAs history. Blending her classic “I Love You, Porgy” with her own  powerful “I Will Always Love You” made Hudson’s tribute fascinating..
